Self-Care with Jen: Face & Body Lymphatic Drainage with Restorative Yoga
Thursdays in April, 7:15-8:15pm
Join Jen Rivera for a transformative class where you'll learn the art of self-applied lymphatic drainage massage. This gentle technique stimulates the lymphatic system to detoxify the body, remove waste, and promote overall well-being. By encouraging the natural flow of lymph, lymphatic drainage supports immune function and helps the body maintain balance. When practiced regularly, these easy-to-learn techniques can help reduce puffiness in the face and reduce inflammation in the body while providing a valuable tool for relaxation, detoxification, and immune support.  Each class will begin with guided self-massage and will end with restorative yoga practice, providing restful poses that balance the central nervous system for deep relaxation. Contact Jen in advance to secure your spot and to be sure you are a good candidate for the self massage (contraindications: heart problems, kidney issues and blood clots).  Bring your favorite face oil or use what Jen will have available: jojoba and rose oil. Cha Dao Tea Ceremony with Megan

Sundays, April 6th, 13th, and 20th from 11:15- 12:15
Join Megan for morning tea meditation. “Cha Dao”, the way of tea, is a practice that integrates tea as medicine and ritual. In Chinese medicine tea is a Shen tonic, an herb that affects the spiritual heart and nervous system. It is a plant medicine that has long been used by Daoists and Shamans to help heal the mind, body and spirit.  This offering is a beautiful way to come together and share space and presence. To experience tranquility and quietude. It is an opportunity to lay down what you are carrying, quiet the mind, and connect with self. When we sit in ceremony, we practice slowing down and becoming quiet as we mindfully and intentionally enjoy tea. Pausing from the busyness and noise of the world, and letting go of daily tensions.  As we continue to sit with tea our minds become less cluttered, we become more present, and we deepen our connection to ourselves, one another, and Nature.  After a brief introduction we will silently share several bowls of tea together. There will be time for reflections and discussion of tea afterwards. No prior experience is necessary, this is a space to come and be as you are. All are welcome. Please come wearing comfortable clothing. Pricing: Sliding scale $18- $32 per session. No one turned away for lack of funds, please reach out if you would like to attend and cost is a barrier. Email
Megdonahoe42@gmail.com to save your cushion,

or with any questions.

Sacred Gong Immersion Meditation and
Slow Flow Yoga with Christopher and Niki

Sunday, April 6th 6:00-8:00pm
Niki will begin the Meditation with a short Slow Flow Yoga session preparing you for an evening of wonderful Gong sounds while you journey and travel through your own Inner landscape. A Gong Immersion is ideal for clearing nerve-endings and for re-establishing the healthy relationship between the parasympathetic (ruled by sound) and sympathetic nervous system (ruled by vision). It also enables the brain to become efficient in producing Theta and Delta waves whilst decreasing cortisol levels. Something that infants and children do very well.  Just like the tones it produces, the experience it induces is different every time. There are some periods of crescendos or layers of sound that you will experience deep vibrations cleansing & healing, along with low tones that may be experienced at a cellular level. While the Gongs are played they will immerse your senses in a total body vibration. Nadis (energy pathways) are stimulated and rejuvenated and Chakras are easily accessed and aligned, removing stress from the energy body.  The Gong will offer you a cosmic, vibrational, healing connection between your energy, the energy below (Mother Earth) and the energy above (the Cosmic World). You will experience low vibrations, pulses and the Music of the Spheres, the Sound of the Universe, while you immerse yourself in the groups Union of Vibration. This experience is also great for insomnia, anxiety, depression, overactivity, and more .  Lay down and be prepared to be taken away in this total body, sound-bath Gong Immersion.
Please email Niki to reserve your spot at yogalovehf@gmail.com
