Cha Dao Tea Ceremony with Megan

Sundays, November 2nd, 16th and 30th, 1:00-2:00

Join Megan for bowl tea ceremony. This is an opportunity to explore tea as a mindfulness practice. "Cha Dao", the way of tea, is a practice that integrates tea as ritual, and as medicine. For centuries, tea has been used as a plant medicine, for healing and spiritual cultivation. In ceremony we practice drinking tea mindfully and intentionally, the ceremony has a rhythm that grounds us and cultivates a meditative state. It's a time and space that attunes us to our breath, to our inner wisdom, to stillness and listening. Our practice gives us the chance to pause; from the busyness of our day to day lives and the noise of the world. As we continue to sit with tea we find that we may become more present, and our minds may become quieter. After a brief introduction we will share several bowls of tea together in humble silence. Afterwards, there will be time for reflections, and discussion of tea if desired. All are welcome. This is a lovely event to attend solo, or with a loved one. Please come wearing comfortable clothing. Pricing for tea sits is sliding scale $20- $33. No one turned away for lack of funds, please reach out if you would like to attend and cost is a barrier.

Please email Megdonahoe42@gmail.com to save your cushion,

Frequency Friday: The Harvest of the Heart with Jenn

Friday, November 14th, 7:00–8:30pm

As we prepare for the season of Thanksgiving ahead, and autumn’s golden light fades, we’re invited to pause — to gather the blessings, lessons, and love we’ve cultivated along the way.  Join us for Frequency Friday: The Harvest of the Heart, a 90 minute, deeply restorative sound journey designed to nurture gratitude, reflection, and peace.  You’ll be guided through an immersive sound experience using Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, chimes, gongs, and the ancient monochord, creating layers of vibration that gently calm the nervous system, harmonize the body, and open the heart.  As the sounds move through you, they invite a softening of the mind and a deep reconnection to your inner abundance — a harvest of your own heart’s wisdom.  Yoga mats and blankets will be provided, but feel free to bring anything that helps you feel cozy and comfortable — an eye mask, pillow, or favorite throw.  Leave feeling lighter, more centered, and wrapped in the frequency of gratitude.  Self Care Investment $44 (Includes a small take-home token of gratitude).  Email Jenn to sign up 1spiritsoulbody@gmail.com

Embodying the End and Embracing the Now

with Niki and Karen Bennett

Friday, November 21st 6:00-8:00pm

Join Karen and Niki for a beautiful & deeply meaningful workshop - blending mindful conversations about death, dying, creating your own end-of-life plans with a death doula, and using gentle yoga to cope with stress, grief and blocked energies within the body. A powerful combination! An inspirational evening of reflection that will inspire you to live your best life NOW. This workshop is perfect for ALL adults - of all ages. It benefits each of us personally, those in caregiver roles, and those of us who love our family/friends enough to make insightful decisions ahead of time. Far from morbid, this workshop aims to remove fear and inspire you to live your best life now. We engage in powerful, thought-provoking discussions on what end-of-life plans might look like if you had a short time to live. By reflecting on needs, wants, relationships, your hopes/dreams, we evaluate what takes priority and what can fall by the wayside. By embracing life and death, you may find yourself making changes to live a life full of purpose and meaning. In the Yoga practice included in this workshop, we will explore a very still, quiet and slow moving practice open to any body. Yoga assists us in processing our emotions through movement and awareness. This practice will empower you to add your own tools to your toolbox that you can call on at any moment of reflection, stress, grounding and working through your challenges. Our yoga practice allows us to come into our bodies to feel and experience life through sensations and energy. Exchange: $40. Email Niki to sign up: yogalovehf@gmail.com
